The boiling kettle
You feel your blood boiling,
Your mind, heart and soul exploding.
A boundless energy that needs to settle.
Out instead of in,
No, instead of yes.
A slowly boiling kettle.
Where did it come from?
The pain, the angst, the violence.
Look at those before you,
Look inside of you.
If the boiling water isn’t poured,
The kettle will burn.
Who started to boil it?
Where will it be stored?
Pour the boiling water into one cup.
Release, direct, create,
Don’t repress.
Notice bubbles go down and up.
Beware of who you serve a cup of tea to,
The boiling water can prepare tea,
But a beastly burn, it cannot undo.
To understand that love boils water,
You should pursue.
